A very psychedelic, vibrating-colors Jimi Hendrix concert poster from Santa Barbara, CA just as the guitar god’s career was leaving the launching pad. This show was on August 19, 1967, the same week that Hendrix first charted a single on Billboard magazine’s charts, “Purple Haze,” and likewise the same time his first LP, Are You Experienced?, also hit the Billboard charts. How cool is that? Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
