A wonderfully early Fats Domino boxing-style concert poster from 1952, just a couple of years into The Fat Man’s career and before he had logged his first #1 R&B hit. Only Elvis Presley sold more records than Fats in the 1950s, and here his career is just getting underway, with the words “Something New” proclaimed in the ticket information at the top. Plus the chilling segregation words “White Only.” Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
