A riveting, fascinating late-60s psychedelic concert poster from the Bay Area featuring the Grateful Dead plus a few musicians from the Jefferson Airplane, who would soon thereafter name themselves Hot Tuna. Poster artist Lee Conklin outdid himself on this classic poster, which many refer to simply as “Ears.” That’s because there are over 50 ears to be found amongst the poster’s artwork! Interesting to note how the Dead’s name is listed only at the very bottom of the poster. All of this and more is enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
