Beatles Quarry Men Visiting Card 1957 Lennon-McCartney Debut!

When John Lennon and Paul McCartney got up on stage together for the very first time, as the Quarry Men in October 1957, it’s highly unlikely that any tickets had been printed, programs run off or posters designed. It was a simple, small-town club date. So this Quarry Men business card, with the club promoter’s impressions of the young skiffle group scribbled in pencil, is most likely the only extant souvenir from the night of the Beatles’ birth as a stage act. A highly historical collector’s item that has spent extensive time in museums. Shown off enthusiastically by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com). If its early Beatles concert memorabilia that you crave, step lightly over to the rare Beatles concert poster gallery here on my web site: http://www.postercentral.com/beatles.htm
