My personal favorite Jimi Hendrix Experience concert poster ever made… a one-off poster from the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD on August 16, 1968. This jumbo Hendrix window card is half-psychedelic, half-boxing style in design, and features Day-Glo colors of dark red and fiery orange. Poster artist D.W. Beeghly really hit his stride with this breathtaking design, and as usual back then, Durwood Settles promoted the show. Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
