Here’s an interesting contrast in two late-50s vintage concert posters… one of them has a relatively weak line-up of stars but a gorgeous design… and the other has a much stronger talent line-up – everyone’s a member of the Rock ’N’ Roll Hall of Fame – but a much weaker design. Which would you rather own? One of them clearly wins the beauty contest, looking much better on your wall, but the other one is SO exciting for the music that must’ve been played that night. If you’re a fan of Fifties rock & roll, take a look for yourself! Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
