Here we have a couple of late-50s colorful B.B. King concert posters that feature a very slim-looking King of the Blues back in his early years. The larger window card is from 1957 and includes stellar opening acts such as Ruth Brown, Bobby “Blue” Bland and Jimmy Reed. The smaller placard hails from 1959 and features an alluring design of alternating blue & orange colors. Admission for both shows was in the $2.00 range, typical for mid-century concerts like this.
