One of the best-looking concert advertising pieces of Bob Dylan’s 1960s heyday, this 8×10” paper handbill hails from Tufts University in Medford, MA. Its classy blue & white layout is adorned with four sharp photographs of Mr. Dylan, plus all the information one needed to order the $2.50-$3.00 tickets by mail order. The March 7, 1964 concert date is extra meaningful because that’s the exact date that Dylan’s third album, “The Times They Are A-Changin’”, first entered the Billboard magazine album charts. Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
