This is Part 2 of my video displaying 60s concert posters where a legendary act appeared at the event, but wasn’t yet famous enough to be listed on the advertising poster. In Part 1 we saw two posters that didn’t mention Jimi Hendrix; here in Part 2, we see two posters that neglected to mention… The Doors and Janis Joplin! Hard to believe, but true. And one of these window cards is amongst the most iconic poster images of all time… and since I didn’t previously know, I’ll bet you didn’t either!
