Ike & Tina Turner Concert Posters 1960s Soul Music Revue Display

In the 1960s, the Ike & Tina Turner Revue was probably the most combustible R&B act to grace a concert stage, with the possible exception of James Brown. That’s why The Rolling Stones picked them as the opening slot on their landmark 1969 tour of America. Here we have two earlier posters, from 1962 and 1966, both hailing from Wichita, Kansas. Both have that trademark splashy red & yellow design featured on most Ike & Tina concert posters of the day, which makes for amazing eye appeal. Both are enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com). If old R&B window cards like this make you a happy camper, be sure to view more located on this page here on my web site: http://www.postercentral.com/rhythmnblues.htm
