Rolling Stones Concert Poster 1964 First American Tour

America’s first taste of The Rolling Stones came in June 1964, when the band flew over for their first, brief set of concerts in America, their debut LP first entered the charts, and “Not Fade Away” was inching up the singles charts. It was only the beginning, of course, for the group eventually known as “The World’s Greatest Rock ’N’ Roll Band.” Here I have the pleasure of showing you the earliest known American concert poster for the Stones; likewise with a promo poster for their first album; and a totally mint, unused ticket for their very first show on American soil, in San Bernardino, CA on June 5, 1964. Whew! Enthusiastically discussed by collector Pete Howard of PosterCentral.com (phone 805-540-0020, email pete@postercentral.com).
