Bob Dylan Joan Baez Window Card & Handbill 1965

A Bob Dylan concert poster dating to 1965 with Joan Baez, designed by fellow folkie Eric Von Schmidt.

Folk musician Eric Von Schmidt designed this poster specifically for Dylan and Baez, as well as identical-looking, smaller flyers & handbills.

This video shows off a blank poster and handbill… before the date, city, venue and ticket-buying information was printed at the top.

This Bob Dylan & Joan Baez window card was designed for the their brief spring 1965 tour of some Eastern cities.

This Bob Dylan Joan Baez concert poster & handbill have been seen from the duo’s shows at the New Haven Arena in New Haven, Conn. on March 6; the Syria Mosque in Pittsburgh, PA on March 17 & 18; Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, NC on March 19; and the Convention Hall in Philadelphia, PA on March 5.

An enduringly popular Bob Dylan Joan Baez poster image by Eric Von Schmidt which invokes the spirit of Toulouse-Lautrec, the French painter and illustrator from the late 1800s.

Bob Dylan ’60s concert broadsides like this are collectible today because they were produced strictly as pre-event advertising pieces, to be discarded afterwards.

Led Zeppelin Concert Poster – Jacksonville, Florida 1969

An original Led Zeppelin concert poster from August 24, 1969 for a show at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, FL.

This concert advertising placard captures the British giants touring off their first album, “Led Zeppelin,” in the summer of 1969, all the while recording their second LP between tour stops.

This boxing-style cardboard Led Zeppelin concert poster is an oddball because most Zep posters of this era were printed on paper, not thick cardboard like this, and carried a psychedelic design. And tell me… how often have you seen a vintage, hot pink Led Zeppelin concert poster!??

Miami Art Printing of Hialeah, Florida printed this 1969 Led Zeppelin window card, to the size of approximately 14 by 22 inches.

Here’s exactly what this poster says, from top to bottom: Premier Attractions Proudly Presents In Concert Led Zeppelin (and) Cat Mother & the All Night Newsboys. (At the) Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum, Jacksonville, Fla. Sunday, August 24th – 8:00 PM. Tickets: $4.00 – $5.00 – $6.00. Tickets available at Auditorium Box Office, Coliseum Ticket Office (and) Henning Park Ticket Office.

Notice that Cat Mother and the All Night Newsboys opened this gig for Zeppelin, the same way they did for the Jimi Hendrix Experience at this time.
