This is a rarity: a sixties Van Morrison concert poster, even though he had released the Top 10 hit “Brown Eyed Girl” and a masterpiece of an album, “Astral Weeks.” Famed poster artist Rick Griffin had great fun with this poster, which is nicknamed “junkyard” because of its crazy background; that big green word in the middle isn’t really a word at all, it’s just a design!
