What’s exciting is that this exact item was actually mailed by Dylan back to his Minnesota friend at the time, and it has recently spent several years on display in museums. A uniquely shaped circular 1967 Grateful Dead concert poster from the Kaleidoscope nightclub in Hollywood, CA. This is the very first poster in a series of about 20 that the Kaleidoscope produced in 1967-68. Also on the bill on this bright-pink poster were the Jefferson Airplane and Canned Heat.
